I have been there, I understand. The feelings you are having are normal. I will share with you techniques to recognise and then move through these negative feelings quicker.
These emotions and feelings, amongst others, can leave you drained. You lose sleep due to worry and a busy mind, which can result in you being cranky, snappy and generally low in energy. Not feeling yourself can impact your relationships, with the loved one you are supporting, your family, friends and worklives. For many successful women juggling demanding careers, that require a lot of time and energy and providing care for a loved one, is a balance that is hard to find.
Often the part you pay least attention to and neglect is… yourself.
You may feel like you can’t do things you want to do, for fear of what might happen if you are not at home, or you don't have the time. For a myriad of reasons you put yourself second, third, fourth… last.
We will identify where you can prioritise yourself. It is not selfish to put yourself first- it's essential. Remember we have to put our own breathing apparatus on first to be able to support others
